Study Assets
A downloadable Study Material
Greetings!
Here you will find bits from my practice, warm-ups, and personal work that I consider good enough to take another look and study.
I animate for a living. All animation is good animation, but we always need to get better! Hopefully you can study from these free pieces as well. I want these to be simple enough to replicate and fun enough for you to want build versions yourselves; I hope this goal is met.
Feel free to use the items here however you want (Exclusion: No NFTs, No AI), but the MAIN purpose is so that we can analyze, critique, and adopt from each-other.
Downloads change out from time to time; this is a living page.
-------------------Newest Files-------------------
GARY:
- A head drawn in Procreate and rigged/animated in Spine. Spine file + image folder.
-------------------Past Files-------------------
Study Assets 003:
- 6 Aseprite animations. One is a character, one is a title screen animation mockup, four are VFX animations.
- 6 Procreate VFX animations (two of these are also pixel art).
Bass Player DEAK: A SPINE and PSD file set for a 2D skeletal Rig who is playing a bass guitar on a loop.
VFX Studies: A series of 7 PROCREATE files with various 2D effects and tricks to make them yourself in fun ways. These files are not optimized or labelled.
4Frames (permanent): A PYXEL EDIT file with Lil' Red, the page's mascot found in the header.
--------------------------------------------------
You can make these too, I know you can!
Happy Creating!

thanks for sharing:)
I just saw this pack today and nabbed it thanks.
However, your description here is quite interesting... basically saying "I mess around with interesting ideas, here they are" which IMO is pretty cool.
Here we are a little later in the day, and I watched this video . . .
. . . which struck me as something that might be an interesting and inspirational resource for a future study!
Good luck and take care!
